Marco Polo Festival

What: East meets West as Chinatown and Little Italy come together at the third annual Marco Polo Festival. The Marco Polo Festival, held annually since 2009, symbolically celebrates this special district by invoking the story of the Silk Road, where the ancient markets of Europe and Asia met, marking a new beginning of world commerce and cultural exchange.
Performances take place between 12 and 4 pm with cultural performances including the New York Chinese Opera Society, Alfio, Dmitri Minucci, The Freemason Lion Dancers and others.
