JINGLE BELL ROCKAWAY FESTIVAL

What: Hurricane Sandy happened over 40 days ago but many in Rockaway still don't have heat, hot water, or electricity, in addition to suffering from new mold problems. Want to help? Please read.

Please take a moment to watch and share via email, Facebook,Tweet, text, etc: https://vimeo.com/54586613

This was filmed 3 weeks ago and most is still the same except we now have practically ZERO volunteers in the Rockaways and mold remediation must happen in every single home. We know everyone has their own issues and people are busy living their lives, but what happened in Rockaway and other areas badly affected by the storm can only be fixed if you stop what you're doing and devote some time to another in need. It's time we come together to help our neighbors rebuild.

Our goal from these events is to raise awareness, boost morale, and most importantly raise funds to rebuild. Your support is appreciated and necessary to recovery.

Other ways we have set up for you to help:

*** TOY DRIVE: Please bring toys for our 12/16 toy giveaway to Rockaway children in need (featuring a special surprise Santa). Or dropoff toys to any of our funbars.com locations BEFORE Dec 15th.

*** Book a fundraiser at any
funbars.com locations, guest bar tend for your friends and donate your tips and 15% of the bar ring to a charity for Sandy relief of your choice. Email cari@funbars.com to book

*** Know a Rockaway bartender or manager left unemployed by the storm? Every Friday, our bar, Sidebar NYC, will allow them to guest bar tend and make extra $ during their time in need. Spread the word and have them email Paulshapiro@funbars.com

*** Want to volunteer on your day off in Rockaway? Email evan.abel@gmail.com

***Can't do any of this? Don't worry, you can still help this important cause: CLICK TO DONATE!

Thank you from the FriendsOfRockaway.org

Together we will Rebuild!

When: Sunday, December 16th |  12PM – 5PM
Where: Belle Harbor Yacht Club: 533 Beach 126th St Belle Harbor, NY 11694
