Open Mic For Poets

What: Featured reader John Rice is a poet and writer from New York City obsessed with food and the power of weirdness. He is as tall as a human-sized tree. (A tree that eats sandwiches and reads books.) He has an MFA from Queens College, is the former recipient of the Silverstein-Peiser and James Kreuzer awards, and, last year, was a featured reader in the Summer Festival of the Performing Arts of both Queens College and Brooklyn College.
