Adults and kids alike are invited to Floyd Bennett Field – New
York City’s first municipal airport and part of Gateway National Recreation
Area – to soak up the bright sun, cotton candy and carnival rides at this
year’s fun-filled family event. The Fair will once again include a variety of
rides and games for those of all ages, tasty treats including deep fried candy
bars, corn dogs, funnel cakes and BBQ. Featured this year will be Aussie
Kingdom, the only traveling Australian animal stage show in the US and Canada. You’ll
see kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos and other native Australian wildlife that
you only hear and read about. Aussie Kingdom will bring the Australian Outback
to life, right here in Brooklyn.
When: Thursday, May 15th through Memorial Day Monday, May 26th
Monday - Thursday: 5pm to 11pm;
Friday: 5pm to midnight;
Saturday: Noon to midnight
General admission will be $5.00 per person. Children
under 36” of height will be free.
