Two5six Arcade 2015

What: The Two5six Festival is where games and culture meet. Organizers are celebrating a "life well-played" May 15-16 at Villain in Williamsburg, with help from Ghostly International's Matthew Dear, Heathered Pearls, and Michna; 30+ hand-picked games from up and coming designers, ripe for the playing; an exciting slate of films; and what Mashable is calling "TED for videogames". This enlightening conference will feature speakers from Etsy, NASA, Lumino City, EVE Online, and more. It's a can't-miss weekend for gamers, whether novice or pro.

Schedule:
Film Festival Friday May 15th 6PM to 9PM (Tickets $15.00 or included in price of conference ticket)
Conference Saturday May 16th 9:30AM to 6PM ($250 per ticket; includes access to film festival)
Public Arcade Sunday May 17th 12PM to 6PM (Free to attend + Free beer: 12-2pm.!)

The marquee event is the conference on May 16th--a day of dialogues bringing games into conversation with other aspects of culture. Each dialogue pairs a member of the gaming community with someone of equal stature from an outside discipline. The results are often unexpected and always inspiring.

This year we have amazing speakers, including:

Randy Hunt, creative director of Etsy
Katherine Bidwell, BAFTA-nominated producer for Lumino City
Christian Rudder, co-founder of OkCupid
David OReilly, director and designer of videogame sequences in Her
Lucianne Walcowicz, ex-NASA Kepler Mission astronomer, TED fellow
Torfi Olafsson, creative director of MoMA-acquired EVE Online
Willow Mellbratt, play designer for 70m-selling Toca Boca series
