National Grid Earth Day Celebration

What: This interactive family event will take place on the plaza outside Brooklyn College's Walt Whitman Theatre. Now in its seventh year, the National Grid Earth Day Celebration is designed to educate families on how they can play a role in caring for the Earth and creating a more sustainable future.  Interactive family activities, educational materials, and give-away items will highlight the need for conserving energy, recycling in the home, and having a heightened awareness of the environmental and global issues that we face today.
