#BESTPARTYEVER #29ROOMS

What: Whether it be a month-long beach soiree or a particularly rambunctious post-work cocktail hour, we at R29 pride ourselves on throwing a good party. This go around, though, we're positive that we're surpassing our previous bashes. Why? Because we're celebrating 10 years of Refinery29 by hosting 29Rooms, a wild, interactive funhouse highlighting style and culture through installations, one-of-a-kind performances, virtual-reality experiences, music, and more.

Set in a Brooklyn warehouse, our creation spans across (you guessed it) 29 individual rooms, each curated by a hand-picked selection of our favorite partners and artists. We'd spoil the surprise if we spilled everything, so for now, just look out for a polka-dotted confetti tornado celebrating Minnie Mouse, an ode to literary heroines created with Nordstrom Rack, an Old Navy DIY denim workshop, a PUMA and SIX:02 stop-motion projection project, and a mysterious "cabinet of curiosities" made with Fossil.

Entrance is free and open to the public on September 11 and 12, from 12 to 8 p.m. EDT. And Lyft is graciously providing discounted rides over the two-day period, using the codeREFINERY29. Really, this just might be the most buzzed-about (and Instagrammed) fete this Fashion Week, so come see what all the hype is about, and get ready to wear yourself out tagging #29Rooms to your epic pics. We'll see you there.

When: September 11th and 12th, from 12 to 8 p.m
Where: 15 Huron Street, Greenpoint, Brooklyn

NYC Honey Week

What: There's no denying that honeybees are a vital part of human existence. They do much more than produce honey: the insects' bigger job, to pollinate the world's crops, makes them essential to the survival of our agricultural system. As the honeybee's existence becomes threatened, NYC's Honey Week provides information about their significance through classes, workshops, honey-themed dinners and cooking classes. The festival leads up to the September 12 Honey Fest, on the newly rebuilt Rockaway Boardwalk (at Beach 97th Street); there will be food, music, film, art, kids' activities and a bee-product marketplace.

(There are even pizza- and cannoli-eating contests.) Aside from the edibles, attendees can enjoy live music and cooking demonstrations.
