Double Whammy Karmin & Dragonette

What: Central Park SummerStage hosts its first double concert of the summer with Karmin & Dragonette. Karmin is an American pop duo consisting of engaged couple Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan. They are best known for their song "Brokenhearted" while Dragonette is a Canadian electropop band from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 2005. The band consists of singer-songwriter Martina Sorbara, bassist and producer Dan Kurtz and drummer Joel Stouffer.

34th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Mid-Summer Pow Wow

What: New York City 's oldest and largest pow wow will feature three days of intertribal Native American dance competitions to which the public is invited. Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz Hosts The 2012 Seaside Summer Concert Series

The 34th Annual SeasideSummer Concert Series performances are held Thursday nights at 7:30pm except for Friday night July 20th at West 21st Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island next to the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones. 
The public is encouraged to bring their own chairs. Limited number of $5 rental chairs in a specially designated area are available on a first-come first-served basis.
