BookExpo America (BEA) is proud to introduce the all-new New York Book Week taking place during the week of BEA. New York Book Week will include public "main stage" author programs at venues such as Times Talks, the 92nd Street Y, and the main branches of the New York Public Library and Brooklyn Public Library, as well as smaller events at other libraries in the NYPL system and chain and independent bookstores throughout New York City and its boroughs
Fleet Week 2010 in New York City
In a city home to hundreds of major annual events, this sensational tradition since 1984 continues to be one of the best. Don’t miss this chance to learn all about it firsthand. In 2010, as always, the strong majority of the ships will dock at the Stapleton waterfront at Staten Island, but the most popular tour ship will again dock at the New York Passenger Ship Terminal. The USS Iwo Jima, Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, is a returning guest of Fleet Week and always a crowd favorite
See all the Ships @ Fleet Week
Major public events at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum include:
* Broadway Showcase, May 28 – including performances by the casts of Memphis, Promises Promises, American Idiot, and The Adams Family
