NYCxDESIGN

What:
Come celebrate the best of New York’s emerging design scene with FAD Market’s NYCxDESIGN pop-up. We’ll be taking up residence at The Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill, with over 50 cutting-edge designers and makers pushing the boundaries of home furnishing, tableware, apparel, jewelry, and more.

When: May 18th-19th  // 11am - 6pm

FAD Market’s NYCxDESIGN market is accessible via the Bergen Street (F,G), Hoyt Street (A,C,G), and Borough Hall (2,3,4,5) subway stations.

SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival

What:
SUBMERGE brings marine science to life as we learn about NYC’s coastal waters from our River Project team and more than 30 regional STEM experts. This interactive science festival invites the public to explore water topics through awesome experiments, kid-approved entertainment and much more!

Hudson River Park’s River Project is committed to advancing public awareness and understanding of our connected waterways. SUBMERGE aims to inspire and make marine science and STEM accessible and engaging for everyone; we look forward to welcoming science lovers of all ages to take part in the fun!

Films on the Green 2024


What:
Villa Albertine’s beloved free outdoor French film festival, Films on the Green, will return to parks across Manhattan and Brooklyn. This year, we’re exploring the thrilling intersection of sports and cinema, showcasing 11 captivating films that embody the spirit of athleticism, competition, and triumph. From soccer to swimming and tennis to cycling, join us for an unforgettable summer of cinematic excitement under the stars!

The Rockaway Beach Bazaar returns!


What:
The bazaar features local favorites, such as Red Hook Lobster, Seaney Pizza, Hook Burger and SandShark Bar. The rest of the vendors will begin serving the community on Memorial Day weekend and continue seven days a week throughout the summer. In addition to the delectable food options, the bazaar will host a variety of local retail shops.

The Rockaway Bazaar will serve not only as a hub for local shopping and dining, but also as a cultural venue with a summer music series. More information here.

French Summer Camps & Classes


What:
This summer, your children will learn, laugh and have fun in French with the Summer Games. Each week’s camp will focus on a city that has hosted the Games, with lessons themed around the geography and the culture of the hosting country, a type of game, famous athletes, and other related aspects of the Games. Best of all, they will learn how to work together and collaborate just like the champion teams will do in Paris this summer!

Volunteer assistants opportunities also available!
