Idlewild Trail Maintenance
What: Do you love to get down and dirty in the garden. If so, then you'll want to join the Eastern Queens Alliance for a day of trail maintenance in Idlewild. Those who love to get down and dirty in the garden are encouraged to volunteer to help us get the trails back in shape. If you are available, let us know by calling 347-824-2301. If you have a weed wacker that would be helpful.

DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
What: Please join us at the largest multi-cultural Festival in New York!! With over 170 teams and 2,000+ participants competing from around the
World, this Year we celebrate the "Year of the Rabbit." This much
anticipated world-class, multi cultural event features two exciting days
of Dragon Boat Racing, wonderful performances and an ethnic food court.

Kids' Auditions - FREE Summer Musical Theater Program
What: For the 10th year, APAC’s summer performance program for kids, Summer Stars is here! Stars must be Queens residents between the ages of 8-13. Two weeks of daily rehearsals will lead up to a public performance on Saturday, August 25th. * Experience is not required — only enthusiasm! Kids auditioning will sing a song of their choice (music is not needed.)

Jurassic Park under the stars!
What: Join Intrepid in celebrating some of our favorite heroes from the
movies with our 4th annual Intrepid Summer Movie Series. Up this week,
Jurassic Park under the stars!
Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets
and blankets. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food, snacks and
non-alcoholic beverages, however no outside alcohol is permitted.

August 4, 11 and 18 from 7 am to 1 pm
Join us for the fifth annual Summer Streets! Nearly seven miles of New York City's streets will be opened up for everyone to play, run, walk and bike. From the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, along Park Avenue and connecting streets you can rock climb at Spring Street, receive a free bike helmet at 51st Street, soar through the air on a zip line at Foley Square or just stroll along and experience the city's streets in a new way—all for free.
