LIC Flea & Food Indoor Holiday Market at The Shops at Atlas Park
What: The LIC Flea & Food in Long Island City announced it will be back at the end of November with an indoor holiday market
at The Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale.
Items at the holiday market, which will run through Christmas, include handcrafted jewelry, clothes, accessories, art, vintage clothes and items, furnishings and more.
Visitors can tempt their stomachs with incredible eats and delectable sweets, and enjoy a drink at the all-Queens beer and wine garden.
There will also be fun for everyone with activities for children, live music, an arcade and much more.

What: The traditional Macy's Balloon Inflation takes place on Thanksgiving
Eve in the streets around the American Museum of Natural History.
Where: Visitors are welcome to join a procession that starts at 79th Street and Columbus Avenue, circling the museum between 77th and 81st Streets and Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.
Arrive early to beat the crowds. By 5pm the majority of
balloons have begun to take shape and by 9pm all are usually inflated.

The Origami Holiday Tree
What: Visit the American Museum of Natural History each holiday
season to see one of New York’s most beloved displays, the Origami Holiday
Tree—an annual tradition for more than forty years. Produced in partnership
with OrigamiUSA, the tree is delightfully decorated with more than 800
hand-folded paper models created by local, national, and international origami
artists.

Feeling crafty? Volunteers from OrigamiUSA will be on hand
at the Museum to teach paper folding to visitors of all ages.

14th Annual Holiday Train Show at Grand Central
What: Presented annually by the New York Transit Museum, this
popular model railroad exhibition features Metro-North, New York Central, and
subway trains departing from a miniature Grand Central Terminal on a 34’-long,
