What: This year, marks the 8th anniversary of The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF). Established in 2005, this event has grown from a parking lot to the largest Hip-Hop cultural event in New York City on the Brooklyn Downtown waterfront that attracts over 20,000 Hip-Hop fans to the Borough of Kings annually.
The only event of its kind, The Festival is produced by Brooklyn Bodega and staffed by 90% volunteers and family-run. In a world where being a Hip-Hop artist has become synonymous with being a corporate citizen; The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is a throwback to the DIY, entrepreneurial spirit of Hip-Hop.
