In honor of Gordon Parks contribution the the arts, join us for our Macys Reading Circle! Our special story teller will read "Of thee I sing: A letter to my daughters" by President Barack Obama. Plus, while you are here, design your own keepsake book! With any $25 or more purchase during the event, receive a copy of the book*! 

Juniors on 4 - 2PM
Boogie on down to the Juniors department as we pay homage to the soul/funk 70s era music featured in the movie Shaft, directed by Gordon Parks. Stop by our Soul Jam style dance party with your friends and make your own photo flipbook*. 

Mens Shop on mezzanine - 4PM
Join us "in Conversation" with Danny Simmons, Nelson George, Warrington Hudlin and Lauri Lyons for a spirited discussion on Gordon Parks influence on film and the future of African-American cinema. Following the discussion, enjoy light refreshments.
