One Film, One New York, One Day Only: Watch for FREE #Crooklyn

What: After a spirited runoff between five great movies, thousands of New Yorkers have chosen CROOKLYN as the one film they want to watch together on September 13th. For FREE.

Written and directed by Spike Lee, this 1994 film tells the story of a nine-year-old girl who lives in Bedford-Styvesant with her parents and four older brothers. It's a slice-of-life story that depicts Brooklyn in the 1970s, complete with kids getting in trouble, parents trying to make ends-meet and everyone in the neighborhood getting in their way. Crooklyn also boasts an amazing soundtrack composed completely of 70s music. And of course, Spike Lee makes a cameo.
