What: MoMA PS1 announces the opening of the M. Wells Dinette at MoMA PS1 in September 2012, a new cafeteria-style restaurant by Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis, the culinary masterminds behind the popular M. Wells Diner, which closed in 2011.
While M. Wells Dinette will return the same quality and creativity to Long Island City that made M. Wells famous, Dufour will be introducing a new menu for the space. The regal charm and academic halls of the building will serve as inspiration for the food being created for MoMA PS1—cooking that is perfectly tailored to the museum dining experience.
