September 11th memorials

Freeman Plaza West
The Port Authority of NY&NJ will dedicate trees to their colleagues and victims of the September 11th attacks, as well as those who lost their lives in the 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center.

Tree dedication at 11:30 am. Stop by any time during the day for a moment of quiet reflection.
Entrances to Freeman Plaza West are on Hudson Street; one near Watts Street, the other near Broome Street.

The New York City Fire Museum
FDNY Commissioner Salvatore Cassano will lay a wreath of remembrance to the 343 members of the FDNY who made the supreme sacrifice at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
The event begins at 1:00 pm and is open to the public.
The New York City Fire Museum is located at 278 Spring Street.
