The Haunted Pumpkin Garden @ New York Botanical Garden

What: Now in its third year, the New York Botanical Garden's Haunted Pumpkin Garden is one of the fun fall activities. Reminiscent of Historic Hudson Valley's Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze, the installation features hundreds of pumpkins carved and sculpted into elaborate spiders, scarecrows, bats, snakes and other scary sights. Additional fun includes daily costume parades, nature scavenger hunts and storytimes, and special programming on weekends like creepy live animal presentations, giant pumpkin carving by famous master carvers and Spooky Nighttime Adventures, when you can explore the Haunted Pumpkin Garden by flashlight after dark.
When: On view daily (except Mondays) through Thursday, October 31

Cost: $20-$25 for adults, $8-$10 for children 2-12, free for kids under 2.
