Discover cereal’s genesis, history and influence on consumers and immerse your self in the intoxicating smell of sugar and eye-catching color of cereal flakes as they fly through the air! Plus Tan will lead you through his interactive art exhibition; a creative exploration of designing your own box of fortified cereal.
Plus, stick around for frozen treats from Coolhaus.

The Umami: Food and Art Festival is a non-profit, biennial event that works in partnership with other New York City organizations to foster collaborations between artists and food professionals. Throughout the month of April, they hold different programs all over New York.  By approaching food through art, Umami frames it as stimulating and inspiring, a positive approach leading to innovative solutions to some of the national challenges we face today. The festival features events that are interdisciplinary and collaborative, creating an interchange of ideas and stirring debate about the role of food and art in our society, creating long-term collaborative relationships between organizations and individuals from different fields.
