What: The International
Association of Mobile Digital Artists has their annual festival,
MobileArtCon.
So you might’ve heard–MobileArtCon 2011 is ‘ON THE MOVE‘. And we’re taking that to heart this year, showing just how MOBILE creativity can be when you have such a low-maintenance, lightweight and efficient art-making tool.
In addition to a 2-Day artist retreat at NYU ITP (October 1 & 2),
we’re inviting artists (of all backgrounds and genres) to join us for
some plein-air drawing, painting, photography, film and whatever else
strikes your fancy at three super-inspiring locations in NYC.
Not a mobile digital artist? Well, that’s okay too. “Analog” artists are welcome to join us too!
When: September 30, 2011, 12pm – 5pm
Where: 3 Stops on our journey. Note a slight change
in our itinerary–as we’ll be ending our ArtCrawl at last year’s Lolita
Bar! (Hey, we’re sentimental!)
- Natural History Museum (FREE Entry for MobileArtCon Registrants)
- High Line/Chelsea Market (RAIN ALTERNATIVE: Battery Park/Wintergarden)
- LolitaBar Happy Hour
