NYC Honey Festival

What: The Brooklyn Grange Farm and Rockaway Beach Club @ the boardwalk come out stinging to bring you New York's first annual Honey Fest. Situated on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk- recently swarmed by a colony of outstanding food stands - we’re bringing you a jam-packed day of bees, beers, brains, and edibles on the beach.
Vendors of all stripes will be sampling their goods, from sweet nectars to tasty treats and bee-inspired threads. There will be:
  • Basic beekeeping classes and demos
  • Raffles, prizes, and other freebies
  • Honey to taste from apiaries large and small, across all 5 boroughs
  • Cooking demonstrations from the esteemed chefs at Brooklyn Kitchen
  • Honey beer and brewing demos from Sixpoint Brewery
  • Wondering about urban beekeeping in other countries? Meet Michael Leung from Hong Kong’s HK Honey
  • Honey Mustard pickles from Horman’s Best Pickles
  • Face painting, a costume contest, and kids activities
  • A freestyle contest for anyone wanting to wax poetic
  • Vendors of all things bee
