What: American soprano Karen Vuong is a rising star in the world of opera, her sparkling voice noted for its marvelous articulation and lilting, creamy tone. Canadian pianist Carrie-Ann Matheson is an assistant conductor at the Metropolitan Opera and has worked with renowned conductors James Levine, Daniel Barenboim, and James Conlon.
